Yes, all onsite locksmiths are fully DBS checked and we are a Which? Trusted Trader.
Should I change my locks after moving into a new home?
Yes, it is highly recommended as you never know who else has a spare key.
What is ‘lock snapping’, and how can I prevent it?
Lock snapping is a common burglary method that snaps the Euro cylinder so we can install anti-snap Euro cylinders to stop it.
What is a master key system?
A ‘master’ key can open all doors in a building while individual keys only open specific ones — perfect for landlords or businesses.

Can I get keys cut at Mentor Lock while I wait?
Yes, absolutely! We offer a professional ‘while-you-wait’ key cutting service at our Wallington shop. Most standard household keys (cylinder and mortice) take only a few minutes to duplicate.
I lost my keys! Can you make a new one just from the lock?
We certainly can! To help us give you a definite answer, please send a photo of the lock to our email lee@mentorlock.co.uk we’ll take a look and get back to you right away with your options.
